Covid-19 Updates
A variety of activities were organized by the Sawaimadhopur Childline during the Corona disaster.
During the lockdown, the child line team appealed to the people to stay in the houses by creating a poster with the help of children to make the people aware of the corona infection.
Due to Corona transition period on 25 March 2020, the lock was done all over India. In such a situation, the children and poor people of the slum area got in trouble for two times of bread. In this difficult time, the Childline team created support for children with helpless people. Sawai Madhopur Child Line team prepared and distributed food to about 100 people for the homeless, destitute at the district headquarters. During this, first the children were washed by hand with a sanitizer, after which everyone was fed with food. The management of the meal was continued by the Childline team to the daily wage laborers walking both in the morning and evening. Social distension and safety were taken care of while preparing food. During the distribution of food, the team members took full care of Covid 19.
Under the Corona disaster, Chaya was distributed to the police personnel and other Corona warriors who were continuously giving duty during the lock-down period. Along with the Corona warriors, tea and breakfast were distributed to foot passengers and children.
Due to the Corona transition period on 28 March 2020, about 75 people were prepared and distributed food by the Sawai Madhopur Child Line team towards the childless team for the destitute homeless people in the district headquarters in the event of lock down across India. On 28th March, Child Line team put awareness posts in District Hospital, Police Thane and Electrical and all gas agencies and informed the people that Child Line is also working 24 hours and 7 days in Lok Down. On March 29, 2020, food was distributed to the Yodwao and patients fighting from the corona by visiting the state hospital.
On March 31, the Child Line team worked hard day and night in this clock of corona infection disaster and cooked food for about 100 people and provided food to the children of daily laborers of other districts living in hostels. Provided by The workers who stay in the hostel have two and three year old children with them. Whose milk was arranged for drinking.
In order to prevent the spread of infection of Kovid 19, the childline office was sanitized in view of the safety of its team. The process of washing and sanitizing hands with soap while coming and going was constantly pursued.
